Sahayta Square presents ‘Awaaz’, a campaign raising awareness on the rights of sanitation workers and dangers that they put themselves in daily for our amelioration. They are the unsung heroes that work tirelessly to provide a safe and hygienic environment around us.

About Campaign

In a world where voices often fade into the background, “Awaaz” emerged as a powerful crescendo, echoing the call for respect and recognition of our sanitation workers. Held with grandeur and grace, “Awaaz” was honored by the presence of Ms. Jayanti Ravi, whose role as our chief guest lent the occasion a touch of distinction and sincerity.

 

The magic of “Awaaz” unfolded thanks to the collaborative spirit of our partners: Iraada, Money Matters, Trash to Treasure, and Yuva Unstoppable. The event, a compelling blend of artistry and advocacy, was more than just a gathering; it was a celebration of humanity and a rallying cry for change.

The funds raised during the event were directly channelled into providing essential ration and water supplies for the sanitation workers, ensuring their needs were met with the dignity they deserve. 

 

Energized by this triumph and invigorated by the possibilities that lie ahead, we are more determined than ever to continue our mission, with plans to host more events in the future, including health camps, to further support our unsung heroes.
